Volunteering at Ginninderra Swim Club

Ginninderra Swimming Club depends on the support of volunteers. Below is a document outlining the various parent-volunteer roles necessary for the efficient operation of a parent-run club such as GSC. Parents who are able to assist with the work of GSC should contact the President at president@ginninderramarlins.org.au.

Volunteering at Swim Meets

As noted above, Swimming ACT meets and Ginninderra Swim Club club nights can only be run with the assistance of volunteer technical officials and timekeepers. The Club encourages parents and other interested individuals to undertake training as an official and become accredited. Online training for all roles, including timekeeping, is available via NSW Swimming. Once the online training component is completed, email Swimming ACT Technical Officer Fiona Johnstone to arrange for practical experience and/or assessment at a meet (sact.training@live.com).
